We had a power outage on Wednesday, I called the power company from work and was told that 4000 customers had lost power. I then tried calling Mom to make sure she was OK. No answer. I called Helen to have her check on Mom, but her car was in the garage, and her door was down and she and no power.
So, I left work and went to Mom's. She was sitting outside on the porch, did I mention it was below freezing? Grrr. Anyway, I took her to my house and told her Mary would pick her up there at 2 when she got in town. Went back to work.
Got a call from Bob that she wanted to go back home. Grrrr.  Left work again, was getting her out of the house to take her home and Norma is right behind her grabbing at her and crowding her, trying to help her walk. I could just picture both of them going down and getting hurt. Grrr again.
